As Managing Director, Investment Solutions, Equities, Jay oversees equity strategy and internal equity portfolio management across the NewEdge Investment Platform. In his role, Jay provides clients and advisors recommendations around strategic and tactical equity allocations, as well as ongoing insight into global equity market activity, industry trends, and fundamental security
Jay is also the head equity portfolio manager for NewEdge Investment Solutions, the investment management division of NewEdge Wealth, where he is responsible for the construction, implementation, and ongoing management of the NewEdge Wealth Quality Equity Portfolios. As the portfolio manager for these strategies since inception in late 2020, Jay’s expertise has helped drive total portfolio assets under management surpassing $2B in 2024.
Jay has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to helping launch NewEdge Wealth in 2020, Jay worked at UBS Private Wealth Management where he was a member of the foundational NewEdge team, originally joining the firm in 2010. At UBS, Jay held a wide range of investment management responsibilities, serving as a Private Wealth Advisor, Portfolio Manager, and Institutional Consultant.
Jay graduated with a B.A. in History and a minor in Architecture from Trinity College in 2008. He has been a CFA® charterholder since 2015 and holds Series 3, 7, and 66 securities licenses. He currently lives in New York City with his wife and daughter. In his free time, Jay enjoys reading, golf, and racquet sports.
